To me, podcasting and this “new media” world we live in is all about community. I hate the term “fans”. I think of viewers as friends of the show, because that’s what you guys are to me. Services like Twitter, Ustream and Qik allow us to constantly have conversations with each other, and that’s valuable!

Qik
Qik is one of my favorite services. It allows me to stream live video at any time from my Nokia N95 mobile phone. When you’re watching live, you can chat with us, and we can see your chats on the phone. Think about this – if I had Qik when we met The Woz, you guys could have joined me. Sometimes we stream fun, random things, other times it’s interesting, cool technology that we’re lucky enough to get a peak at.
Ustream
Ustream is also a live video streaming service. Cali Live is our weekly live show.
SmugMug Pictures
We use our Eye-Fi SD card to automatically upload pictures to our SmugMug account.
Forum
The GBTV Forum is a great place to meet other friends of the show and talk about technology or your pets, or…whatever! :) It’s also a useful tool when you have a technical question.
