I was live during the Apple announcement today for the iPad. Firefox crashed on me which meant the live stream got cut off, so it’s in two parts. Part 1 is above, and Part 2 is below.

Thanks for being there to inform us today. Followed your webcast until you peaked at about 12500 viewers. Then I hit refresh. Re: the iPad…Very nice interface, however the lack of a webcam, Adobe Flash and the apparent lack of multitasking with the iPhone OS makes me think that the Nokia Booklet 3G (from Brief 682) may be a better tool.

@Cali, sorry for bailing out on the live stream today. Campus connectivity was sketchy, Firefox and my office workstation weren’t handling the streaming very well.

I’ve got over 300 iphone apps that I can hardly wait to run on the new iPad. Never mind what it doesn’t have, I think it will be a game changer and wildly successful. I want one now!

@Cali, FYI: My favorite web browser for the Macintosh is Camino and it is in my experience, the most well-behaved web client I’ve ever used.
