Shownotes:
The first week of September, we’ll see a new slimmer PS3 with a lower price point at $300. It’ll run cooler, use less power and run quieter.
Cloud Telecomputers is working on an Android Desktop Smartphone called Glass. It has an eight-inch color touchscreen, with Outlook integration, Bluetooth, speakerphone and an API for adding additional features.
Samsung is thinking different with their DualView ST220 and ST225. They added a secondary LCD screen on the front of the point and shoots to give you a better view when shooting yourself and it also will display animated videos so you can attract a baby’s attention when you want them to look at the camera.
Logitech announced two mice that, using Darkfield Laser Tracking, will work on glass that’s only 4mm thick and glossy surfaces. They’re the Performance Mouse MX and the Anywhere Mouse MX.
SquareSpace automates the design and development of a Web site or blog and through automation, they’re able get you up and running on the Web starting at just $8 a month. You can try it free for 14 days and my promocode GEEK will save you 12% when you sign up.

Enjoyed the Brief today. I need one of those mice as I have a high-top table with a glossy black finish that I have to use a mouse pad on.
Thanks as always for your hard work!

This is the grammar police calling. You will be subject to a large fine if you don’t stop using adjectives where adverbs are required!

Hey Cali, thanks for the promo code for SquareSpace. I’ve been looking for a hassle-free blog tool to get away from iWeb (don’t like Blogger) and this is just what I’m looking for!
Been a fan for a while now, keep up the wicked shows! Thanks again!!

Can you please make the “small” ones smaller in file size – they are still 30MB, and really eat into my monthly bandwidth limit – and I just noticed that iTunes is downloading #452, and the “small” version is 112MB, which takes over 3 hours to download, which makes it difficult to do it during the off-peak hours when I have more bandwidth. I think sometimes you people in USA forget that in places like Australia (where I live) and New Zealand (where I am from), internet access is expensive and once you have used up your monthly quota, it drops back to dialup style speeds. I am in Brisbane, one of the biggest cities, and it takes over 3 hours to download on the best residential broadband I can get – I would hate to think what it would be like for people outside the main centres.
