Shownotes:
We have an update on the Google Voice and Apple situation. Google said they do believe Apple rejected the app because of similarities to native features on the iPhone. Apple says it’s still under review and hasn’t been rejected.
Microsoft is giving students the chance to get Windows 7 for $30. It’s a limited time offer. Details are at win741.com.
HP’s Dream Screen digital frame has 802.11g Wi-Fi, 2 Gigs of memory and a remote control. You get access to real-time weather, Snapfish, read-only Facebook, Pandora, and HP Smart Radio. Unfortunately, you don’t get a browser or the ability to post on Facebook.
The Messless Charger came in for review. I mentioned them on Brief 594. It’ll charge up to four devices. It comes with an iPod connector, a Nokia plug, a Sony Ericsson connector, Mini USB and a couple more. You can order additional connectors and switch out based on your needs.

Why no video support for Blackberry devices? Some of us Mac fans use Bus and would be great to download abd watch the brief

Please ask the Messless Charger folks to add a USB output, so we can sync all of our charging devices at once. Then I can give it five Yays!
Oh my.. we need band-aids with a GeekBrief.tv logo :D

Should I be uneasy about “saving the procrastination for that term paper”?

WMV is coming back, don’t worry! When we went on the road to CEDIA, our travel computer couldn’t handle the compression. We’re working on getting everything back to normal this week. :)
