Shownotes:
Dell’s Z600 is beautiful and brings some new ideas to the top of your lap.
EyeTV released an iPhone app that will let you record and watch your recordings. It’s $5.
BlackBerry users got an app for TiVo, but you’ll only be able to schedule and view recordings, and not watch. It’s free.
FOTOBOX is an SD card reader that will turn your photos into an animated slideshow, that you can then burn to a DVD.
Pioneer released a 12x Blu-ray burner, called the BDR-205 Blu-ray Disc Computer Writer. It’ll be $250 and ships later this month.
I want to join the Bacon of the Month Club!!! In addition to getting bacon every month, you also get…1) discounts on Grateful Palate bacon products and bacons, 2) a membership card, 3) a monthly comic strip about bacon, 4) a Bacon themed ball-point-pen, 5) a little rubber toy pig, 6) one free bacon tee-shirt, 7) a monthly bacon recipe, 8) additional discounts, and 9) a pig nose.

You want a RED camera, hands down =)
It’ll be interesting what the price of BD burners will cost exactly 1yr from now. $100? I remember working at best buy, and getting my employee discount on an Imation 8×20 SCSI cd-r kit… $200 or something. I was so excited, first burner. Now $200 can nearly buy me a netbook, hahaha

I can’t seem to find exactly how much bacon you get in each package. It just says “1 Bacon”. Which i assume is more then 1 piece of bacon :P

The Dell Z600 is a handsome portable with some very advanced technology concepts.
Micro$oft might want to take note that this is the third Dell product to ship with Linux pre-installed.
Perhaps this might be a harbinger that the days of Windows(tm) are coming to a close.

Hey cali. Why don’t you share your views on evolution with everyone?

The OS on the Z600 is still Windows. The Latitude ON Reader (available on other Dell models such as the E4200 and E4300). There are 2 versions, hardware and software. The hardware version is a rom that only reads your cached e-mails, contacts, work with office documents, and browse the web. The software version takes another partition which is more OS like.

My apologies. I was certainly mistaken. I must have been reading something about Linux prior to watching this brief. It’s a handsome machine, deserving of a more elegant operating system.

I hope the bacon is free range. Factory farmed pork/bacon is not so appetizing once you know what they do to it:
