It appears that Droid does have multi touch. Check this out. If I'm not mistaken that's the same app the demo video is using to show multi touch.

"The rule should be: Give the customer everything that the device can do!" Tell that to Apple. I bought the iPhone 1st Gen and it sucked. It had huge potential, but so much was not supported. (Should the iphone not theoretically sync through bluetooth? does that work yet? I don't know because I can't stand Apples strategy with the iphone and so I have refused to care about the iphone any further!)

Nokia is just going to use that to make fun of us, when they announce an update with multi touch now enabled. Just another way to create more PR out the same device!

My understanding is that Android 2.0 supports multi-touch. And the droid is supposed to be straight Android...am I missing something here? I guess the out of box broser does not have multi-touch support, but developers can create apps with it. Just how I understand it, but I have read so many different articles its all a blur now!

I agree, the lack of multitouch is insane.. wtf?! The real question is who made the call, Verizon? If they did, they just never learn. It's exactly why I left them (for Sprint no less... mostly because it's significantly cheaper for 4 phones on data plans).

As for the Apple TV, I'd pay $30/mo as long as I could get access to everything, and still be able to "DVR" it. I suspect fully downloadable w/ commericals in tact, but better than nothing. The key to success though would be allowing this for any Apple TV/iTunes install from within my house. Otherwise, deal's off.

@Kelsey interesting. Because well maybe the media misread Schiller's quote (maybe it was someone else from Apple) who said they'd actively go after companies that infringe on their intellectual property. The media interpreted that as a shot across Palm bow over the Pre. Hrmm.

@Petrucci, just realised I didn't even get my own URL correct! Just as well.

Excited to play with the huge multi-touch table!

Ray- I've got the Sprint Hero and it's got multi-touch...so I don't think it's Apple's patent that is holding them back....

Hey that funny banner twitter thing is messing up the WordPress template. It seems to remove the left side. OK onto my review of Brief 653...

So the Scarlet looks like something a Storm Trooper would use, and at $28,000 bucks, you'd have to be one bloody rich Storm Trooper. I still don't get why Petrucci features such ridiculously priced gear on her video blog thingy. Claims it's a blog for tech newbies, hrmm. Not sure about that one.

Not loving the bling bling logo. Reminds me of the bus with the mirrored ceiling they fell in love with. Swiftly moving on!

If you trawl through my Facebook feed you'll see the long discussion I had with someone who actually threw one of those tacky Windows 7 parties. He seemed to think Vista didn't bomb, and Apple hadn't developed a single innovative product in the entire companies lifetime. I know. Which comes to your complaint about multi-touch on the Droid. You aren't forgetting Apple own the patent to that application on mobile devices right? I guess it doesn't extend to Europe?

Hrmm, what else was wrong with Brief 653. Oh you've mixed odd and even numbers! Rookie mistake Petrucci. You can't have an even 6 and then an odd 5 and 3 in a Brief number. It's clearly stated on page 653 of the Brief manual. *sigh*

You still haven't looked at my site! http://www.ixictable.com :)
