yay!! I've been waiting forever for this! I never thought of pairing one of the new apple keyboards with the n810 – that's incredible! I'm not sure why tethering (connecting over bluetooth) doesn't work for you – it may be an iPhone thing. I can use my razr 3xx to connect through cingular via bluetooth any time I'm away from wifi. It's expensive, but great when you need something small in a crunch! Also, I just installed the new os2008 on my n800 today, and it wasn't that bad. I did have to use vmware since the updater only runs on windows >_< Since Nokia's official server for downloading the new os is PAINFULLY slow, here's a good place to download them, and you can still check your md5s! http://www.maemopeople.org/index.php/piega/2007/1...Just use the updater provided by nokia on the official website running in your favorite windows emulator, and you should be up and running in no time!! anyways, if you need any more details, just hit me up! davidks107@msn.com w00t!! -David

oh ya, and you mentioned a program (wiibot, weebot??) but I don't see it in the shownotes, I'm really interested in this program, if you could give the actual spelling o_0

hey cali i know you do alot of video formats but is there going to be a HD one i.e. 1900×1080 mainly for the xbox 360 and ps3 ? is there any plains or… ? they both play h.264 i believe and also now both play divx so maybe a 1080 divx file will be small in MB then h.264. ps3 is limited to 2GB divx files though still only 305minutes long.

Do you think that iPhone will support keyboards soon? I need it!

Both the older N770 and N800 support bluetooth keyboards. I like your pairing the N810 with the Apple unit, but for those who wants something smaller, more portable, and less expensive, check this out – http://www.amazon.com/dp/product/B0002OKCXE/ Also, can you do a piece on the GPS functionality of the N810?

Cali, I though I might take advantage of your Drobostore.com Promotional "code" to get $50 off my purchase. Well I entered "Cali Lewis" in the code box and it ADDED $50 to my purchase! haha thanks :-D

LOL! The code is "cali", actually. That's hilarious that it added $50, I'll check with them on that. :) Did you get it sorted out, though?

I have to ask, where did you get the bare (and i mean BARE) drive you had in your hands? thought that was interesting…

My friend Mark from TaylorMark.com gave it to us. He does data recovery.

Silly question time: Who's your cell phone provider? I can't use my N800 with Sprint because they block bluetooth modem functionality in my Treo 700P unless I pay $40 a month…

The Nokia tablets are set up to work with GSM providers–AT&T and T-Mobile in the US. It may be possible to make it work with CDMA providers like Sprint and Verizon, but I don't know if it's officially supported or even doable.

Cali: I just upgraded my N800 to OS2008. I found a tip somewhere that said to only enable the repository that you need for a particular install. That is what finally got it to work for me.

Do you have to put in some 'code' for the pairing to the Apple keyboard. Based on your recommendation, I purchased an Apple Wireless Keyboard – very impressed! – but I can't get my N810 to correctly pair. Any ideas?

Does the N810 have a word processors and spread sheet app? Will os 2008 run palm apps or windows mobile apps? I would like to use it to take notes in collage but from what I can find it wont work for that. From the podcast you said it syncs nicely with the Mac. Does it use sync services or it own software?
