I love the preroll.
I’m a ad lover in general and I want to see ads made professionally not just talk.
Preroll is a good idea and I think won’t bother the people because the ones who want to skip the ad know where to fast forward.

The R2 Unit is cool but call me a nerd, for 3 grand I really want R2 to be life size. Then R2 would feel more like part of the family than a toy. For 4 grand I expect the Jet Pack upgrade.

Nice to hear the positive feedback on the ads. Not a fan of Becks, but it’ll be interesting to see what comes of this.

And we still use coax all the way.. analog cable for $18/mo FTW! (we watch very little TV…)

I like the new set and I am very interested in the addition of prerolls. I understand that advertising pays the bills and I really think that your viewer involvement should be commended. Is the Becks product placement up for discussion? I thought it was another prop, like the mike until you went to another shot and it was placed very prominently. I am not against it per se, but with asking what we thought about pre rolls, I wonder why you didn’t ask about product placement.

All that being said. I love the show and I am not even a Mac user, or a twitter user. So I hope that is saying something. LOL

I checked out the Nikko site and actually like the R2D2 webcam a bit better. The Star Wars shop sells this as well. It is $369.99.

Love the R2D2 – I want the webcam (it’s after the DVD projector). So cool and cute and (have to say it) moxie.

I was wondering, whats the difference between plugging in a HDMI cable from your PC to your TV? That seems alot easier than buying ANOTHER box. I’m probably missing something here so if anybody has an explanation, let me know.
