Hiya

I absolutely love the podcasts, so natural and fun.

I work for a mobile retailer in the UK and apparently O2 UK is opening at 7:02am GMT on the 11th July to launch the iPhone 3G. So I'd imagine the US will launch in the morning instead of their usual 6pm.

With all tech people watching, DIY projects that come up on giz and other tech blogs from time to time, and the price of gas.. is there going to be an upcoming Bus-Retool high MPG for the big trip? So that
1. its more economical for you guys
2. better for the environment
3. better for US global politics (cause you'd be an example people would hopefully follow)
4. a really cool geeking out experience to document?

of course you'd have to actually have the bus picked and bought first, but I thought that'd be cool way to interact with us viewers... of course I dont know anything about how to do it, so I wouldn't be one of them :)

So cool to see SmugMug offering this kind of value-added service. Personally, I'm user, which makes you use your own S3 account but does not charge an uplift on fees. If you get a SmugMug account, upload 10 GB, keep it for a year, and download it back out, you've spent something like $86. JungleDisk doesn't give you any of the whizzy web interface, but you only pay $41 for the same thing, and $20 of that was the one-time cost of the software. SmugMug's offering is really cool, but I wish the cost premium weren't so high or I'd totally use it.

@tnkgrl: I'm so sorry! I believe we spelled it right in the show, I guess we got a bit sleepy while doing shownotes. :) I fixed it!

@Haseeb: Thanks for watching!

@Farren: LOL! Yes, it's a Drury Inn. Never stayed at one before. They have great customer service.

I know it makes you sad when no one notices the goofs, so... The lower third graphic says #380. Only pointing it out so you'll know I'm paying attention.

I'm hoping for a 6 PM launch time, too. I say 8 AM is way too early to be out and about if I'm not going to work. Hoping this line party is as much fun as the previous ones you've experienced!
