The "Hacked $#$&@!! USB" thing... I'm sorry but the first thing I thought of is that I have to get (or make) one and tell people it's "Wireless USB".

Oh the possibilities are endless with this!!

Just saw this other system for home automation, not sure if you have seen it yet.

http://www.smarthome.com/netlinc.html

And they are including a free iPod touch, although you can run the remote control from your iPhones. Hope this helps.

One of the thing I like best about GBTV is that you and Neal treat bloopers as a treasure instead of a throwaway and this GBTV pod-cast is simply that: a treasure of giggles and guffaws. Thank you. ^..^~

Ah, you forgot one thing about the new PS3, it will NOT play older PS2 games. So, if backwards compatibility is desired, make sure you read the back of the box and get the right one.

Esam, I do believe you can just go buy and stream movies on xbox live marketplace as well. And yes, they have HD movies too.

Also, this is not a price drop on the 80GB ps3. This is a product replacement for the 40GB ps3. This still lacks the ability to play old ps2 games, which the higher model has (and some extra ports too I believe).

That magnetic knob is interesting. There is a company that makes a sound board where the knobs are mounted on a screen. This means that the knob can be anything and has the graphic representation of what it is and does right next to it, and not on a screen in a different location other than the knob. Anyways, here's a link to one of the board made by Studer. http://tinyurl.com/dmeex Oh, and those are high hig-end boards. Usually even to expensive for most TV stations unless they are major players.

Cheers, Hans

Hello ... cali

regarding the PS3 good choice over the 360.. it has blu-ray and Wifi . you missed the announcement about the PS3 yesterday they lunched a similar netflex movie streaming service.

there is a catch on the xbox360 netflex you need to be subscribe to both services xbox live and netflex. But in the ps3 it is FREE just go and buy and start streaming.

One last thing the PS3 has an HD option in some movies. 360 still SD in all movies.

And then there is FIFA football for giants -- FIFAFOFUM, pronounced fee-fa-fo-fum :-)

You could probably work "I smell the blood of an Enlishman" into that as well but not quite sure how...

Thanks for the TuneUp alert - I try really hard to keep my itunes orderly and complete but at over 8,000 songs, I can't seem to keep up! I hope it works. Sadly, I have to at least wait for the mac beta. Interesting that they wrote software for an Apple application with PC compatibility first... Haha! Seems a bit ironic!

Good show. However, when it comes to wierd names, more research is required (just like before with LaCie (pronounced la-see). FIFA is if pronounced fee-faa. I know it may be difficult when reading it on-line to know what the correct pronunciation is - until you hear it in person, it can be daunting sometimes. Keep up the good work.
