I’m continually impressed with research coming out of Georgia Tech. The latest accomplishment is a project by Dr. Maysam Ghovanloo and his students. It’s called Tongue Drive System and it allows people who have been paralyzed to control their wheelchair or a computer by a magnet on their tongue.

Google Maps released Walking Directions to get you from point A to point B on foot.

Lifehacker pointed me to a great work around for using Google to search all cities in Craigslist. When you’re looking for an item, sometimes it just doesn’t matter where you find it. Take a bus, for example.

Westfalia announced they’ll be making a new VW bus-inspired camper called the Verdier Solar Power.

WordPress for iPhone was released today. It allows you to create, edit and post to a Wordpress blog from an iPhone or iPod Touch.

Google’s walking directions are indeed a nice addition – but they don’t seem to be available on the Google Maps version I have on my iPod Touch – now THAT would be awesome. Any idea if it’s available on mobile devices?

Wow that tongue drive is very innovative. I’m not sure that if my tongue were among the few things I could move I’d go for the pierce option. But of course if I could use this to interface/operate everything then maybe I would.

…saying something is “better than RAID” with no arguments other than “You can be a drooling tard and use it” is not very accurate. A lot of appliances use RAID and the user doesn’t have to know.

I found that it is possible to view/edit/publish existing drafts from the iPhone app. They are just not seperated out from the rest.

For my blog they appear at the bottom of the list with posts, with a date of 30 november 1999 0:00.
