Shownotes:
We saw the Microsoft ad for a laser free mouse last week. Now we have the details. Three mice have been introduced using BlueTrack. They’re the Explorer, the Sidewinder and a mini Explorer.
Ion Audio releases a large range of analog to digital converters. If you’re looking for a turntable for those old records, take a look at the Ion LP2 FLASH.
RIM and TiVo announced a partnership, allowing Blackberry users to program their TiVos remotely.
Advanced Windows users running the .NET framework might enjoy an alpha CircleDock, a tool for launching applications quickly.
Today I posted on BigTrip.TV about how we’re rethinking the type of bus we might buy for the trip. Then we saw the Tabbert Paganini and fell in love.

Was that Vista I saw running on the screens in front of you!? Vista, Zune, Microsoft mice, is this the real Cali Lewis?
Love the new intro.

Haha! Yes, that was Vista. We have to work in Vista every once in a while. :)

A friend of mine, heavily into the vinyl, has recently purchased his first MP3 player. He may just be getting an Ion turntable from me this Christmas. And yes, the Paganini is gorgeous — I’m just a little worried what it might cost, even in Germany.

I’m a bit worried. I always watched your show on my Nokia N95 but starting with GBTV #425 I can only hear the sound, no video. Have you changed your codecs?
September 12th, 2008 at 9:05 am
@Richard: The Nokia feeds are encoded from the Medium feed on the back end. It happens automatically – we don’t do anything to them. Are you using those feeds or one of the others?
One other thing to check would be your available space on the N95. That could have some impact.

I’m using the small feed, it has changed it’s codec from MPEG4 Video (H264) 320×180 29.97fps to MPEG4 Video (H264) 480×270 29.97fps.
But you’re right, I can use the N95 feed to watch videos (it only has a smaller image..)

Love the new intro! Fun, short and stylish!

Hey Cali!
I just wanted to know what kind of microphone you were using because there is an echo like sound when watching the video. Is it because the room in which you are is empty or is it a microphone thing?
