The Ikonoskop A-cam dll Digital Motion Picture Camera (what’s with the supercalifragilisticexpiladocious long name?!) captures footage without compression. It shoots in 1920×1080 and you get 12 minutes of video on an 80GB memory cartridge.
Peek is a device meant to do one thing. Email. It’s $100 and $20/month for unlimited use. David Pogue’s review is here.

Wow… Almost fell out of the chair on some of the stats on the new Ikonoskop camera. :) Hope that was not just plain water in the glass. You definitely need something a bit stronger to help get your tongue round that name. lol.

Convergence or a full gadget bag? What’s it to be? Whoever thought our gadget bags would be in danger of getting empty and being left at home? It is kind of sad to think about that way. It wasn’t two years ago that I was trying to figure out how to hang multiple things from my belt without invoking too much of a Batman vibe, and now I just shove the iPhone in my pocket and go. As you would say, bittersweet.

I have to disagree w/ Peek… neat toy, but $20/mo? C’mon.. that’s insane. The service is at least $10 overpriced.
I’m not one for a single convergence of all devices. I personally don’t believe it can be done well. I will always have a few things. Email is not one of those things though. Get a phone w/ a keyboard, and the cheap data plan (that is non-smartphone). It might be cramped… but this seems targeted at not the heavy user, so you wouldn’t be on it all the time anyway.
