Shownotes:
I’ve eaten octopus before, but I’ve never heard of Octopus Balls, otherwise known as takoyaki in Osaka. The Automatic Octopus Ball Maker makes it easy to make your own.
TiVo partnered with Nero a few months ago, and out of that partnership, we get the Nero LiquidTV, which let you turn your PC into a TiVo DVR.
Thanks to AutomatedHome.com for finding Jaikoz. Using MusicBrainz and Acoustic ID, it works to tag your music files to fill in the missing blanks.
The Jupiter Mouse is a nice looking gyroscopic mouse.
Netgear announced the WRN2000 and the DGN2000 WiFi-N Routers. Their intention is to make setup and connecting additional computers to your home network. The routers take advantage of the Push ‘N’ Connect technology. Push a button on the router, then on the computer, and it automatically connects that computer.

Funny Brief! Monkey balls, octopus balls lol. I’ll stop right there. How come you left in the blooper ‘jigital’? (digital).
I have a Netgear router myself, with 5 IP’s to administer. Yeah, tons lol, but can’t help but think these routers are for the terminally lazy! Oh well, different strokes…

Cali / Neal, thanks for picking up our Jaikoz piece. I’m loving this great piece of software as it works its way through all the untagged stuff in the music library.
Regards
Mark.

Don’t know how much experience you have with TiVo, but, I don’t see the Nero as a big deal. First, there is no CableCARD, so it is realistically limited to only OTA HD. To get a CableCARD, you need a CableLabs certified PC. Second, TiVo’s real usefulness comes from being an always on and available appliance – not a dongle on some other computer. If you look at the overall pricing, Nero isn’t particularly a great deal.
