Shownotes:
CEIVA announced two new digital photo frames. The CEIVAlife is 640×480 and the CEIVAshare is 800×600. As with all CEIVA frames, their PicturePlan service is available for uploading photos.
The Hover Q claims to be the worlds smallest infared R/C hovercraft.
Fusion announced a new car radio with an iPod dock. It’s called the CA-IP500.
Here at GBTV HQ, we use VisualHub to compress each Brief into different formats so you can the show however is most convenient for you. The developer of VisualHub, Tyler Loch, announced a couple weeks ago that he had to stop work on the application for family reasons. We were crushed, and asked if he would be willing to sell us the rights to the code. We’d love to continue development on it. He decided to release it to the open source community, which is always a great thing! If you’re a developer who will be working on the new version, now called FilmRedux, send me an email with “VisualHub” in the subject line.

Any progress with Hackintosh on your EeePC…? I want to get one if Leopard works on it… You can check out http://www.MacEee.com
Do post updates about it in one of your episodes…
Also, you have not talked about Windows Cloud (aka. Windows Starta) and upcoming Windows 7 with possibly an “Instant-On” feature, according to Microsoft survey…

The project is on hold until I get back from the trip. Couldn’t find my power for it until right before I left. Obviously I haven’t used it in a bit. :)

Now that VisualHub has been released to the open source community, how long do you think it will be until someone gets it working on Windows?

Thats were I live!
May I ask what city and what hotel you guys stayed in?

@Smash I’m sure Tamara is a nice girl, and all, but better than Cali? I don’t think so. (I watched a couple of the videos, so I could offer an actual opinion, and I can say that there is NO comparison. Cali wins, hands down.)

Dang! We could have had a Southern Oregon meetup! I could have shown you all of our tech at Southern Oregon University in beautiful downtown Ashland and probably got you some good Shakespeare tickets.

Carole, I totally agree! I checked out some of Tamara’s videos and I strongly prefer Cali to dish out my tech news!

If VisualHub is now Open Source and called FilmRedux, what happened to AudioHub? I was planning on getting it.
