Well, I went to order one of those Bottle Top Tripods, but the shipping fee is outrageous. There are two options: $10 and $30. That is a little steep for such a small item as this.

@walt - I agree. Apple has no responsibility to support the hack, but the hack makes Apple TV better!

I'm very pleased to see criticism of apple where it's due ( and any company for that matter) . Loving a company or their product is fine, but following it blindly and accepting everything they throw at you whether it be good or bad is ludicrous, especially these days.

I was pretty disappointed with your comments regarding the Apple TV software update and Boxee.

I'm not aware of any evidence that Apple intentionally disabled Boxee, and I do not think that Apple has any obligation whatsoever to research Boxee's installation methods and figure out how to not break them accidentally.

Do I think that Boxee's features are wonderful - sure!

Do I think Apple has any responsibility to some third party hack on their product - no way.

Cali,
When do we get to see your Rovio in action (or interaction) with your dogs?

Also, not to be picky, but I think that neodymium is pronounced nee-oh-deem-ee-um. (It is the same type of magnet that controls the read/write heads in a computer's hard drive.)
