Shownotes:
Mercedez is the first one bringing to market technology that lets two people watch two different things at the same time. The driver will be able to see controls and navigation information, and the passenger will be able to watch whatever they want.
If you have a small point and shoot camera, take a look at the Wrap-up Tripod. It wraps around your camera to protect it, then unfolds into a tripod.
MiFi gives you a hotspot for all your devices and multiple users, so you can connect on the go. It’s perfect for traveling!
Lots of you sent this one in. Woven Bacon is a brilliant idea, and rolling it with cheese is even better. I think it should be called Southern Sushi.

Wow! I really want the MiFi !!! I can’t wait to get it!
Do let us know in the Brief when its out.

The MiFi would be great but there is already a better solution I use. Its called joikuspot, what it does is take your mobile (cell) phones 3G connection and streams it over the WiFi on conpatable phones. This means when i want to share my mobiles 3G connection to my laptop or even my friends all I do is enable the software. There are free and ‘premium’ versions available.

Joikuspot doesn’t always work for me. I love it, but I’ve found it to be unreliable. Glad it’s not for you!

Okay, what was the song that played as your rolled credits? (Great job – per usual.)

FYI – MiFi isn’t a new concept. Check out http://www.cradlepoint.com. They’ve been shipping a similar product for close to a year now called the PHS300. Grant it, it doesn’t have the cell modem plugged in, but since it doesn’t it gives you the flexibility to share your USB cell modem or just use it yourself in your PC/Mac.

all for Southern Sushi !!! YES (me too)
PS … I’m up on new technology however being a technical writer I go home and isolate myself from tech. Boo hiss … I know. What direction would you (Cali or anyone) send me for internet TV? I have DirecTV (not really happy with) … should I drop the small dish syndrome and go with internet TV? I am PC person but I’m not afraid of Apple (have iPod and iPhone) … I can mod and hack with good instructions. Suggestions?

Hey Cali! If you love Bacon you have to check out the Bacon Explosion Recipe. It even applies the bacon wrapping technique. I have yet to try making it, but it looks live a bacon lovers fantasy. Enjoy! Let me know if you make it, I will do the same. http://www.bbqaddicts.com/bacon-explosion.html
