Shownotes:
I had an awesome time at WordCamp Dallas this weekend. Thanks to everyone who helped John P. and me organize the event, and to everyone who came! You can see a full write up on my blog, CaliLewis.me. Dave Curlee will be cleaning up the recordings and I’ll post them right here on GeekBrief.TV. The best way to know when they’re up is to follow me on Twitter, where I’ll post the links.
PogoPlug is now Mac friendly. It makes external hard drives accessible on your local network and over the Internet. They’re sending me one, so we’ll have a review soon.
Two iPhone projectors are coming to market. Lancer’s iJector appears to work with any iPod that does video including the iPhone and iPod touch. Resolution is 557X234 and projection size is up to 50 inches, and has stereo speakers. The second one is a joint effort from BeamBox and MiLi. The Evolution Mini Power Projector is 10 lumens, and resolution is 640X480.
X-mini Capsule Speakers are smaller than an egg when closed, but they have a patented expandable vacuum that they say mimics the resonance of a sub-woofer. When expanded, one is about the size of an egg. It has a rechargeable battery, and an 1/8-inch mini plug and USB connector.

An important question for any projector that connects to the iPhone or iPod is, does it play any video and audio or does it ONLY play audio except in iTunes. I use Air Share to quickly transfer a single .mp4 file to my iPhone, and it plays audio and video on the iPhone, but when i connect my “Apple AV Connector” to a TV it only plays the audio portion. If I use iTunes, which takes more time to get onto the phone it plays Audio and Video.
