Shownotes:
Sony announced their VAIO W netbook. It has a 10.1-inch display, a 1.6GHz Atop processor, 1GB of RAM, runs Windows XP and a resolution of 1366 X 768.
Bristol Interactive is adding PC power to their ViewSurfer TVs. The 22″ and 32″ TVs are powered by an Intel Atom processor, have a gig of memory, a 160GB hard drive, four USB ports, and an Ethernet port.
Google Translate gives us a good laugh with the Quattro for iPhone Case. What’s really cool about it is that it allows you to screw on various types of lenses so you can really get creative with your iPhone photography.
I got the Balanzza Digital Luggage Scale for Christmas last year, thinking I’d never use it. Much to my surprise, I now use it all the time! With airlines charging outrageous fees for overweight baggage, it saves you money.
The Trace of Time Clock lets you focus on the next twelve hours of your life. Write your appointments, and as time passes, your appointments are wiped away to make room for the next twelve hours.
This Brief was brought to you by Angie’s List. I just used it to schedule a plumber and he was great! He actually have us an Angie’s List discount that very nearly covered the cost of the membership. Check it out at Angie’sList.com. The greatest promocode in the history of promo codes, GEEK, will save you 25%.

You need to come up for air more! Maybe that’s why you didn’t get the Best Job in the World. No good underwater. Although you did look like a pro in the gear. In the UK we say, ‘All the gear, and no idea’.
On a silly note: not a single one of my leads on today’s Brief? Shaaah!! As if!! What was wrong with the printable batteries, and the baked bean cooker that attaches to a MBP as if by USB? Genius!

VAIO W – oooh, pretty pink! I love it! And it looks like a nice, handy size for cool conferences like WCDFW – so you don’t have so much trouble getting your laptop in and out of its case and messing with your purse, yada, yada, yada…
Trace of Time Clock – definitely super cool!! I love the concept! (Provided, of course, that the eraser didn’t wear out and not be replaceable at the same time. Ack!)
The Quattro for iPhone case totally reminds me of a pair of binoculars my dad bought for me in the 70s – that I still have, too! LOL!

“Atop” processor? I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that was a typo that should have read “Atom” processor. Engadget agrees.

Doh! Yeah, that was a typo, and unfortunately I wasn’t thinking this morning. We were shooting 10 minutes before the Michael Jackson Memorial began, so I was rushing a little. :)

No worries. You guys do a fantastic job, so I was surprised when that one suck through. I’m not judging, I promise. ;-) Your track record speaks for itself.

I think ultra portable laptop will replace all the netbook soon enough. Just take a look at the new Dell Adamo XPS.
