Shownotes:
Allan Grinshtein was bored on Monday so he decided to write an site called PingWire that shows all the pictures posted to TwitPic in (almost) real time. It was too much for the TwitPic servers to handle, so he switched to YFrog. Warning: may be NSFW
Meeting Ticker is a result of a GitHub.com collaborative project. You enter the Number of Attendees, Average Hourly Salary and the time the Meeting started. It’ll keep a running total throughout the meeting.
Nintendo is releasing a Black Wii in Japan on August 1st.
I love Cisco’s Telepresence technology, but it’s large and expensive, and not meant for the average consumer. They’re working on bringing the technology to the HDTVs we have in our living rooms, and I can’t wait!
Geoff Smith, who you might remember from such videos as Digg the Code, , and Ones and 0s, is a partner in Ringtone Feeder. They released the Alarm Pack, which offers 25 custom songs and sounds that you can set as your alarm on the iPhone.

[technical note from neal: Cali's shirt was dark blue so I thought it would work on the blue screen. I was wrong. That's why we kept the back black. The cool thing about doing that, though is it creates a much smaller file size, right Mr. Kevin Pollak?]

Hey cali. Just so u know, you CAN make custom alarms and ringtones using your own music very simply using iTunes.
Follow this guide http://www.itworld.com/personal-tech/62440/how-make-iphone-ringtones-itunes-free
works beautifully. Give it a go.

And about that shirt, I think I need to know where you got it. Nice show, I always love Geoff clips.

The Alarm Pack is really nice, but it is very frustrating that it doesn’t also work in an iPod Touch. My iPod Touch is now my alarm clock, and I was hoping to get some new alarm sounds.

Cali i know you can use a program for the mac called iToner, it connects to the iphone directly and puts the song on their, it is a shareware, but after 30 days you just have to have between 15-45 seconds.

Hey Cali, I use http://audiko.net/ to download free rintones, plus I use these clips of my favorite songs as alarms when I wake up in the mornin, it’s totally free, plus these clips import right into the iTunes Ringtones section. Enjoy!
