Synaptics has a new multitouch developer kit called the ClearPad 3000. It can read input from up to 10 fingers simultaneously and offers greater precision. Watch the video here.
Canon is releasing new technology in lenses coming out by the end of the year, called Hybrid IS. It’s an acceleration sensor that determines the amount of shift-based camera shake.
Coke is testing a Freestyle Soda Fountain that will let you try different mixed fountain drinks. There are 100 flavor options. The test markets are Georgia, California, and Utah.
ASUS is releasing the first motherboard with USB 3.0 ports. It’s the P6X58 Premium.

In the shownotes, it says that the ClearPad 3000 can support up to 10 fingers. However, in the previous video, it says that up to 8 fingers are supported.
