Not sure which came first or how they compare, but Wish You Were Here (WYWH) is another postcard iPhone app I heard about a while back on The Mac Geek Gab (http://macgeekgab.com). More about WYWH: https://wywh.mobi/home.html

Motorola – I was always a big fan of. Android starting to catch my attention. Wife and I need new phones and on VZW so waiting until October hurts. iPhone an options except for lack of trust on ATT reliability.

The shirt “I’m with /dev/null” would actually be a bit funnier as “I’m with /dev/zero”. /dev/null means “not there”. /dev/zero means “full of zeros”, as in a real zero. :)

was it just my computer or did it take longer for the brief to stream?

Casey that’s because the episode is only on HD.

Hi Cali,
The best google voice app is using the iPhone by loging onto the googlevoice on safari and then bookmarking it on the homepage screen ( people told pogue on nyt wrot an article on this, and also they call it a web appp?) it has everything that the old app had.
BTW Apple did not pull it off my phone?

I have been using the Harmony 900 remote ever since it was released a few months ago. I also have one of the USB accessories to control my PS3 (which I use pretty much exclusively for BluRay watching). I love that thing! Not only has it made my life easier, all my friends who come over can now figure out how to watch TV!

Cali I love the brief and have been watching you every day for a couple of years now. I respect you and look forward to the brief every weekday. However I have to say, your iPhone boycott has me a bit bothered. Boycotting a piece of technology for purely political reasons is, in my very humble opinion, simply ridiculous. The iPhone is the best smart phone out there right now — nothing else even comes close. To eschew that technology simply because of ONE app doesn’t make much sense to me.
Also, maybe I’m missing something here, but why can’t you just go to voice.google.com on your iPhone through Safari and use GV that way? I have done it on my iPhone and it works just fine. I have a GV account but I don’t really use it so maybe I’m missing something here. If that’s the case, please let me know.
Thanks and I hope I didn’t come across too harshly. I still love the brief and hope you guys keep up the great work.

I have the old Harmony One … it controls everything (apart from my PS3). The support staff are great, just tell them what you have and how you want it to work and they sort it their end.
just wish the PS3 can be sorted …. :(
