I have been using AirMouse for ages which accomplishes the same job and more with hot keys, media control and web browser specific keys. It can also use the accelerometer to move the pointer by waving your hand around. Granted its not free, but it is superb for controlling my media center.

Given the possibility of an iPod Touch or iPad in my future along with a Macbook, Touchmouse.APP is going on my wish list.
On the “trusted” list is Logitech, whose products have been consistently good performers in terms of usability and longevity.
On the “dev/null” list is the Fusion/JooJoo/CrunchPad/Arrington debacle, which was my biggest disappointment of last year.

FYI: TouchMouse.app is not available in Canada

What was the name of that book? Inside the mind of Steve Jobs?
Can’t find it on Amazon :(

Seriously what is your problem? It’s pronounced WAH-CUM.
Not WAY. Spend about 3 seconds and learn it once and for all. The company’s number is 1-800-922-6613. STOP BEING WILLFULLY IGNORANT!

Can’t believe I had the honor of being mentioned w/ pic too on episode #700!! Had no idea when Neal ask me to try the logitech app that I’d be mentioned. What a sweet surprise. Especially since I saw Brief #600 being produced and now got to be mentioned on #700. Thank you
PS I saw a paid app that may even look more exciting:
http://bit.ly/cxklAZ Of course the price of the logitech app makes it much easier to try. In fact I am typing this with my touchmouse app

…and it’s kind of cool to know how to make WACOM.COM’s head explode. Gonna start calling it Way-com all the time now.

Great brief! Things are still clipping at the edges slightly on my poor lil iPod nano but I’m sure that’s just more a layout concern than anything deliberate. All the black and white stuff is pushed in nicely!
Keep up the great work!

Thanks for these 700 briefs Cali! Every single one brings me a lot of knowledge.
Concerning the TouchMouse App it’s worth mentioning that a similar app has been around for quite a while now on the Nokia tablets (N810 for example). It’s called Blue Maemo and is a kind of bluetooth universal remote control, including mouse (not really with gestures), keyborad, media player, slideshow, gaming, …. Over WiFi there are several other but mainly VNC based.
