I can has translation? I do like the facebook and twitter apps they have loaded on this phone. Though I can’t seem to find them in my Android Marketplace for my G1.
I agree with Eric. Nothing compares to the iPhone. Just buy one and quit thinking that cheap knockoffs will ever be better. Apple designs the best products on the market.
If Apple has the iPhone on the Verizon network, 90% of the iPhone complaints would disappear. My wishlist to make the iPhone dominance more thorough would be a flash for the camera, flash video capability and a slide out keyboard. Otherwise, it’s basically perfect.
But the cell phone industry desperately needs a new phone that blows the iPhone out of the water or else Apple can just do mild updates to the iPhone. I will just to something other than my iPhone if another phone can truly beat the iPhone on what it already does really well and gives me the few wishlist items I stated above.
Signed – A happy iPhone user that’s always ready for something better… not from Apple.
I got the new Droid the day it came out. I moved from the original iPhone which I got when it came out (and from blackberry before that). Verizon runs circles around at&t (there’s a map for that). It may not have as many apps as iPhone yet, but they are coming fast.
Aside from the better service, better camera, flash, multiple connections to Exchange, better keyboard (both virtual and full), better spell check, removable battery, connects to iTuens, the best thing is that I can now do MORE than one thing at a time… I can email while on the phone, listen to music while working on a document… the combination are endless. I too, was brainwashed by Apple. But this lemming stop short of the cliff and switched. I will not be going back to the iPhone.
