My friends at SmugMug were so impressed with what Vincent Laforet is doing, that they’re sponsoring Laforet Visuals for a special project. Vincent and his team are using a Canon 5D Mark II and a RED camera to document one of the world’s top surfers, Jamie O’Brien. They gave me permission to post the project on GeekBrief.TV.
The thing that I really like about this project is that Vincent is taking us behind the scenes to show us the equipment he’s using to capture amazing shots. It’s also interesting to see the comparison of footage captured on the 5D Mark II contrasted with stuff captured on a RED all on the same video.
