State Fair of Texas Meetup

If you’ll be in the Dallas area on October 5th, join us for a meetup at The Great State Fair of Texas! There will be corn dogs and Chicken Fried Bacon (tastes amazing!), and of course Fried Green Tomatoes. Here are the deets:
Date: October 5th
Time: 1:00 PM
Meetup location: in front of Big Tex
We’ll meet in front of Big Tex at 1:00 PM, have some corndogs, then leave Big Tex around 1:30 PM. Make sure you follow my Twitter account to catch up with us if you miss the meet time! At 5:30 PM, we’ll head on over to the Chevorlet Main Stage to see Kelly Pickler (yes, we’re American Idol fans!).

UPDATE: During the meetup, we’ll also be shooting shows for GeekBrief.TV at the Smart Home located at the Women’s Museum. The plan as of today is to start shooting at 2:00 PM.
UPDATE 2: John P, and Eli and Jad (developers of Woopra) will be at the meetup. They have FREE Woopra T-shirts for everyone, but you have to let them know what you want, otherwise you won’t get one! The shirts have a Woopra logo with one of these sayings under the logo:

I am excited I do not have work or anything else planned on that day so I will be there. Parking is $10 if you park inside the official State Fair parking lots the for those who do not normally go.

DART/TRE! $5.00. Free parking at the train station. Shuttle from Pearl St. station to Fair Park. Next year: DART rail right to the front gate. WOOT!

Im in the houston area but will be driving to dallas for the weekend so hopefully we can make it to the fair in time…

Hello!!!!!!!! I am a fan of your show, I heard about yall through Tim Ferriss(hes a super cool guy too!!!) I will definitely come and meet yall on the 5th. I will put this in my Google calender. Anyhow, thanks for all the great shows and look forward to meeting yall!!!

I will be there for sure. I am really looking forward to meeting my two fav tech people.
Plus there is also some $5 parking by the McD’s right behind that gas station. Now do not take my parking spot.

By the way… we do have a few small and medium Women’s sizes in the T-shirts for all the ladies! So don’t be shy if you want one. We’d love to hook you up with the extremely limited edition Woopra gear. :-)

I’ve been reading a few posts and really and enjoy your writing. I’m just starting up my own blog and only hope that I can write as well and give the reader so much insight.
